Ryan Shomo is in his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets.....registered a 15-8 mark in the #2 singles slot.....added a 14-12 record in doubles action - 2-3 at #1 and 12-9 at #2.....National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-America Second Team honoree.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Team.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2014-15 - NCCAA All-America Second Team as a sophomore.....voted to the G-MAC Team.....posted an 11-9 record at #2 singles.....combined with Joel Clark for a 13-10 mark at #2 doubles.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2013-14 - Produced a notable rookie season.....voted to the All-G-MAC Team.....anchored the #2 singles position with an overall record of 11-9.....finished 11-10 at #2 doubles with Joel Clark.

High School - Four-year letter winner in tennis at Marshalltown High School.....placed sixth in singles as a senior in the Iowa Class 2A State Tournament.....played #1 singles for the last two seasons of his high school career.....two-time state qualifier.....gained experience by playing in multiple United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournaments.....also participated in golf and wrestling.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a finance major at Cedarville University.....born 1/10/95 in Marshalltown, IA.....son of Robert and Kendall Shomo.....father played soccer for the Yellow Jackets from 1979-82.....has one older brother and a younger brother.
