Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Corey Caldwell is a four-year hurdler with the Yellow Jackets.....earned NCCAA Outdoor All-America honors for the third time in the 110 meter hurdles placing 3rd in 14.79 seconds.....clocked in a career-best 14.62 in the Yellow Jacket Open.....season-best mark in the 400 meter hurdles was 55.21 at the NCCAA to finish 5th.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in the 60 meter hurdles in 8.38 seconds to place 3rd.....turned in a career-best effort of 8.23 seconds at Youngstown State which is the 10th-fastest time in school history.

2012 - NCCAA outdoor hurdles champion as a sophomore in the 110 meter and 400 meter events.....won the 400 meter hurdles in a career-best mark of 54.41 seconds and claimed the 110 hurdles in a season-best time of 14.80.....won both events in the Ohio Independent Championship.....NCCAA Indoor runner-up in the 55 meter hurdles in 7.75 seconds.

2011 - NCCAA Indoor champion in the 60 meter hurdles with a winning time of 8.38 seconds.....posted a season-best mark of 8.34 in the NAIA Indoor prelims and was timed in 8.35 in the semifinals.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 110 meter hurdles placing 3rd in 14.90.....ran a season-best 14.79 in the NAIA Outdoor semifinals.....member of American Mideast Conference champion 4 x 400 meter relay unit.....finished 3rd in the AMC 110 hurdles (14.96) and 400 hurdles (57.60).....best time of the year in the 400 hurdles was 57.20 at the Miami Redhawk Invitational.

High School - Four-year letter winner in track & field at Smithville High School.....graduated with school records in the 110 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, 200 meter dash, and 4 x 200 relay.....earned All-Ohio Division III honors as a senior as the state runner-up in the 110 hurdles (14.64) and was runner-up in the 300 hurdles (38.87).....achieved all-region and all-conference honors.....three-year letter winner in basketball.....two-time all-conference first team and all-region second team selection.....played in the North/South All-Star Game.....Team MVP his final year on the hardwood.....Daily Record Athlete of the Year in basketball and track as a senior.

Personal - Mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 11/30/91 in Wooster, OH.....married his wife, Faith, on Aug. 10, 2013.....son of Bernie and LeeAnn Caldwell.....older sister, Jayme, played basketball at Grove City College.....also has a younger sister, Emily.
