Benjamin Tuttle returns for his final season of cross country after being granted a medical redshirt by the NCAA.....team’s #1 runner in the first two meets of 2014 before going to the sidelines with an injury.....placed 5th at the 5K Queen City Invitational in 15:27.....Friendship Invitational champion in a career-best 8K mark of 25:01.....sat out the indoor track & field season.....returned to the outdoor campaign to break the school record in the 10,000 meters at the Raleigh Relays (29:47.09).....All-Ohio Outdoor 5K runner-up in 14:50.15.....qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championship in the 10K and placed 18th.....USTFCCCA Division II Outdoor Region Team in the 10K.....USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2013 - Ran in six varsity meets as a junior and was either the team’s #2 or #3 finisher each time out.....USTFCCCA Division II Midwest Region Team.....placed 3rd in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference for the second straight year in 25:35......All-G-MAC First Team.....turned in a season-best 25:18 at Appalachian State to finish 21st of 229.....placed 6th of 289 in the All-Ohio Championship in 25:23.....Friendship Invitational runner-up in 25:39.....crossed the line 12th of 199 in the Division II Midwest Regional in 31:59 for the 10K.....CU’s #3 finisher at the NCAA Division II Championship in 32:32.....NCCAA Indoor Champion in the 5,000 meters on the track.....USTFCCCA Division II Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2012 - Produced an outstanding sophomore campaign finishing the year as the team’s #3 runner.....named to the USTFCCCA Division II Midwest Region Team.....posted a season-best time of 25:39 to place 10th in the Friendship Invitational.....timed in 25:45 and finished 3rd in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.....All-G-MAC First Team performer.....came in 36th of 182 at Wisconsin-Parkside in 26:08.....finished 23rd of 158 in the Division II Midwest Regional in 31:46 for the 10K.....86th of 245 at the NCAA Division II Championship in a career-low 31:16.....distance runner on the track.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2011 - Competed in four varsity meets as a freshman.....best 8K time was 27:36 at the Ohio Independent Championship to place 23rd of 62 runners.....ran the 3K and 5K during the indoor track season and the 5K and 10K outdoors.....won the Ohio Independent Championship 10K.

High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country at Eastport-South Manor High School.....earned all-state and all-academic honors as a senior.....twice named all-county.....four letters in indoor track & field.....county champion in the 3,200 meters.....picked up three letters in outdoor track & field.....played one season of baseball.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 5/23/93 in Eastport, NY.....son of Nathan and Brenda Tuttle.....has two older brothers.
