Ryan Chaney is a third-year defender with the Yellow Jackets and is one of three captains on the squad.....played in all 19 matches as a sophomore with 17 starts.....credited with two assists.....notched one in a 2-1 Homecoming victory over Shawnee State and another in a 3-1 win at Urbana.
2006 - Appeared in 12 matches coming off the bench as a freshman.....recorded an assist in a 6-0 victory over AMC South Division foe Shawnee State.
High School - Started every game in his four-year career at Calvary Christian Academy.....tallied an area-record 145 goals and 70 assists for 360 points.....two-time Mason-Dixon Conference Player of the Year.....four-time all-area and all-conference selection.....NACA All-American as a junior.....2005 Cumberland Times-News Player of the Year and the 2004 Offensive Player of the Year.....paced team to a 74-21-2 overall record.....member of three-time conference title team.....squad won two league playoff championships.....led Eagles to back-to-back trips to the NACA national tournament including a second-place finish in 2004.....four-year letter winner in both baseball and basketball.....National Honor Society student.
