Matt VandeKopple returns to the program at the forward position after sitting out the entire 2007 season with an injury.....junior academically at Cedarville University with sophomore eligibility status.
2006 - Played in 16 matches with two starts as a freshman.....made his college debut by heading in the equalizer in the 87th minute of a 1-1 draw versus Siena Heights.....also scored in a 5-0 win over Spring Arbor in the NCCAA Midwest Region championship match.
High School - Played four years of soccer with three letters at Northpointe Christian High School.....tallied 10 goals and 7 assists as a senior.....also saw action as a goalkeeper.....earned all-conference, all-region, and all-district honors.....team posted a 17-3-1 record and won the River Valley Conference championship.....school had a combined 36-7-2 record during his final two seasons and was ranked in the Michigan Division III Top 10 both years.....picked up all-district recognition as a junior as a member of district title squad.....National Honor Society student.
