Yellow Jacket Baseball Field

The Yellow Jackets began play in 2000 at their new home baseball complex which is located at the north end of the campus. The baseball venue includes a natural turf field with a Diamond Pro surface on the infield and on the 15-foot warning track that leads up to an eight-foot high wooden fence. The outfield dimensions are 330 feet down each line, 383 in the power alleys, and 402 to centerfield.

The site includes 50-foot long dugouts, a press box, electronic scoreboard, and seating for 500 people. The entire field includes drainage and an automatic irrigation system. Cedarville hosted the 2003 and 2008 NCCAA Midwest Region Tournaments at the facility.

The baseball field is part of an athletic complex that includes fields for softball and soccer as well as a track & field venue. The project, which features a picnic pavilion and concession stand, was completed under the design and leadership of former athletic director Pete Reese.
