Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Cedarville Female Athlete of the Week (May 23-29) is track & field distance runner Rachel Sweeney.  The senior from Xenia, Ohio placed 13th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the NCAA II Outdoor Championships on Friday, May 28 in Allendale, Michigan. Sweeney,a pharmacy major with a 4.0 GPA, was also recognized with the prestigious Elite 90 Award which is presented to the student-athlete competing in the meet who possesses the highest cumulative grade point average.
