The Rapid Fired Pizza Female Athlete of the Week (October 3-9) is cross country runner Alayna Ackley. The junior from Hart, Michigan was the top finisher for the USTFCCCA Division II Lady Jackets at the Queens Challenge (5K) on Friday, Oct. 8. Ackley posted a 17:20.6 effort for a fifth-place spot as CU won the team title in impressive fashion. The 29-team race with 304 competitors was held at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, North Carolina.
