The Rapid Fired Pizza Male Athlete of the Week (April 10-16) is baseball catcher Sam Punzi. The graduate student from Easthampton, New Jersey produced a solid effort in a four-game G-MAC series with the visiting Ohio Dominican University Panthers on Fri.-Sat., April 15-16. Punzi batted .533 in the four games with an 8-for-15 effort at the plate. He added six runs, a double, three home runs with 10 runs batted and 18 total bases for a 1.200 slugging percentage. His last home run of the series tied the school record for most HR's in a single season (12).
