The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 11-17) is cross country performer Alayna Ackley. The senior from Hart, Michigan led a 1-thru-4 finish for CU as the Lady Jackets won the All-Ohio Championship under the lights on Friday, September 16 in Cedarville, Ohio. Ackley's winning time of 17:38.9 for the 5K was the 15th-fastest ever run at Cedarville's Elvin R. King Cross Country Course. Cedarville totaled 17 points to take the top spot in the 33-team race.
