The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Oct. 16-22) is cross country runner Savannah Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan led a group of five of the first 13 finishers for USTFCCCA Division II No. 7 Cedarville en route to an impressive victory in the 44-team Alabama-Huntsville Invitational. Ackley placed fifth of 400 participants with a time of 17:25.7 for the 5,000 meters at the John Hunt Cross Country Park on Saturday, Oct. 22 in Huntsville, Alabama.
