The Germain Ford Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Nov. 6-12) is soccer player Mary Kate Wyer. The senior midfielder from Greenville, South Carolina tallied goals in both of the NCAA Division II Midwest Region games played last week at Yellow Jacket Field. Wyer drilled home a PK in the 80th minute of the #2-seed Lady Jacket 3-1 victory over #7-seed McKendree on Thursday, Nov. 10. She scored a goal in the NCAA II second round 3-1 setback to #6 Ferris State on snowy Saturday, Nov. 12.
