The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 7-13) is men's track & field runner Evan Thayer. The sophomore from Naperville, Illinois set a school record in the indoor 1,000 meters at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 13 in Marion, Indiana. Thayer's winning time of 2:28.99 also met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard.
