The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Jan. 22-28) for the second-consecutive time is track & field distance runner Evan Leist. The senior from Beaver, Ohio established a school record in the 3,000 meters with a winning time of 8:15.23 at the non-scoring Wittenberg Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 28 in Springfield, Ohio. Leist's time also met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard.
