Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (April 14-20) is softball player Casey Bertke. The senior pitcher/first baseman posted a pair of G-MAC road victories while compiling 33 innings of action in four games in the circle for CU. Bertke went all 11 innings as the Lady Jackets defeated Walsh 6-3 in the first game of a doubleheader on Friday, April 19 in North Canton, Ohio. She pitched all seven innings with eight strikeouts in a 6-1 win at Malone on Friday, April 20 in Canton, Ohio.
