The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 28-Apr. 3) is track & field throwing specialist Tara Leaman. The senior from Puyallup, Washington, broke the school record in the hammer throw at the University of Cincinnati Invitational on Saturday, April 3. Leaman had a toss of 161-feet to place 8th in the event and automatically qualify for the NAIA National Championship. Leaman also finished 4th in the javelin as CU placed 8th in the 15-team event.
