For the second consecutive week, the male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Sept. 5-11) is soccer player Matt Niemiec. The senior forward from Holland, Michigan scored the winning goal three minutes into overtime for a 3-2 win against visiting Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday, Sept. 11 in the final match of the annual Dave Jones Memorial Classic. Niemiec, who leads the Jackets in scoring, posted CU's only goal on Friday night in a 2-1 setback to Bethel IN.
