The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 26-Jan.1) is basketball player Rachel Hurley. The 5-foot-4 senior guard from Indiana, Pennsylvania was named the MVP of the Northwood University Classic last Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 29-30. She scored 17 points including her 1,000th career point in a 94-53 win over Albany Pharmacy. Hurley followed up with 11 points against Bethel IN as the NAIA #11 Lady Jackets outlasted the Pilots by a 94-88 final.
