The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 26-Jan. 1) is basketball performer Austin Foote. The 6-foot sophomore guard from Castle Rock, Colorado keyed a valiant Yellow Jacket comeback effort in a 77-73 loss at NCAA II Lake Superior State on Thursday, Dec. 30. Foote, playing for the first time since Dec. 2 due to a shoulder injury, came off the bench to score a game-high 17 points for the 8-8 Yellow Jackets.
