Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 2-8) is basketball performer Matt Harner. The 6-foot-3 guard/forward from Cedarville, Ohio led the Yellow Jackets to two important American Mideast Conference wins in the Callan Athletic Center. Harner tossed in a team-high 17 points and handed out four assists in an 88-83 verdict against Mount Vernon Nazarene on Tuesday, Jan. 4. He followed up with a 24 point, three assist effort and a 7-for-8 showing at the charity stripe as CU defeated Daemen, 87-78 on Saturday, Jan. 8. The Yellow Jackets have won five straight AMC games.
