Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Nov. 30-Dec. 6) is volleyball player Emily Berger. The junior outside hitter from Greenville, OH helped the Lady Jackets claim the 2008 National Christian College Athletic Association Championship on Sat., December 5th in Lakewood, CO. Berger was named the Tournament MVP, posted 18 kills and four blocks in the three-set sweep over Dallas Baptist in the title match and became CU's 16th player to reach 1,000 career kills in the semifinal win against Mount Vernon Nazarene.
