The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week is track & field sprinter Alexa Winik. The junior from Windsor, Ontario ran to an 8th-place finish in the 400 meter final at the 31st Annual NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship on Saturday, March 5 in Geneva, Ohio. Winik was clocked in 56.99 seconds - just 0.02 seconds from an All-America spot. She advanced to the final by winning her semifinal heat in a time of 56.24 seconds. The event was held at the GaREAT Sports Complex in Geneva, Ohio.
