The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Apr. 24-30) is track & field distance runner Matt Brooker. The sophomore from Spring Mills, Pennsylvania nearly broke Cedarville's 10-year old school record in the 5,000 meters on Friday, April 29 at the Gina Relays in Hillsdale, Michigan. Brooker placed sixth in the invitational race in an NAIA automatic qualifying time of 14:22.30.
