The first female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Aug. 28-Sept. 3) for the 2011-12 season is tennis player Lily Schuler. The freshman from Bakersfield, California helped the Lady Jackets to a 7-1 season-opening win over NCAA III Geneva on Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex. Schuler joined with Brooke Johnson for a win at #1 doubles before making her collegiate debut successul at #1 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 final.
