The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Sept. 18-24) is men's tennis peformer John Filcik. The 6-foot-4 freshman from Holland, Michigan led the Yellow Jackets to their first victory of the fall season - an 8-1 decision over NCAA III Otterbein at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Filcik paired up with Aaron Niemiec at #1 doubles for an 8-4 win and followed up with a 5-7, 6-0, 14-12 in the #3 singles slot.
