Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

For the second consecutive time, the female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 5-11) is track & field sprinter Alexa Winik. The 5-foot-6 senior from Windsor, Ontario placed fourth in the 400 meters at the Indiana University Hoosier Hills meet on Friday, Feb. 10 in Bloomington, Indiana. Her time of 57.91 seconds is the 8th-fastest all-time at Cedarville University. Winik joined with Christina Gall, Katie Lanphier and Joy Santos for a fifth-place finish in the 4 x 400 meter relay event. The 3:59.71 effort is the 6th-fastest all-time in Lady Jacket history. The meet was non-scoring.
