Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 11-17) is junior basketball performer Alison Lemon. The 5-7 guard from South Charleston, OH led the Lady Jackets to two American Mideast Conference road wins. On Tues., January 13 Lemon fired in 23 points as CU defeated Mount Vernon Nazarene by a 77-62 margin. She scored 22 points and became the 17th Lady Jacket to reach 1,000 career points in an 84-68 win at Malone on Sat., January 17. Lemon was 6-for-10 from behind the arc to go with six rebounds and five assists. CU is 12-5 overall and 3-2 in the AMC.
