Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Sept. 16-22) is tennis player Melissa Stoltzfus. The senior from Newberg, Oregon helped the Lady Jackets to a pair of victories over NCAA III opponents Otterbein and Ohio Wesleyan. Stoltzfus combined with sophomore Lily Schuler at #2 doubles to win the final three games for a 9-7 win as CU nipped Otterbein 5-4 on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex. Stoltzfus won points at #2 doubles and #2 singles in a 9-0 CU victory at Ohio Wesleyan on Thursday, Sept. 20 in Delaware, Ohio. Cedarville is 5-1 with three matches remaining on the 2012 fall schedule.
