The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 9-15) is basketball performer Zimmy Nwogbo. The 6-foot-7 senior forward from Lithonia, Georgia helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a pair of impressive wins last week in Hawaii. On Thursday, Dec. 13 in Laie, Hawaii, Nwogbo scored 28 points and added seven rebounds with three steals in a come-from-behind win over Brigham Young-Hawaii. He played just 19 minutes due to foul trouble on Friday, Dec. 14 in Honolulu, Hawaii but managed 10 points and seven boards in a 74-65 verdict against Chaminade.
