Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 13-19) is basketball player Zimmy Nwogbo. The 6-foot-7 senior forward from Lithonia, Georgia produced two solid offensive efforts last week for the Yellow Jackets. Nwogbo scored 23 points in 24 minutes as CU blasted visiting Miami-Middletown 92-55 on Tuesday, Jan. 15. He hit 11-of-12 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds in the win. Nwogbo tallied 29 points while hauling in nine rebounds in an 88-83 overtime loss to Notre Dame (OH) on Saturday, Jan. 19 in the Callan Athletic Center.
