Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Jan. 27-Feb. 2) is track & field thrower Anna Pomento. The junior from Athens, Ohio and a transfer from Bowling Green made a successful home debut on Friday, Feb. 1. Pomento broke her own school record in the shot put for the second time in a week with a heave of 40-2.75. The record-breaking performance helped the Lady Jackets win the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational with 218.5 points. The 13-team event was held in CU's Doden Field House.
