The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Oct. 6-12) is soccer player Connor Gilmour. The 6-1 sophomore midfielder from Warren, Ohio led Cedarville to a 3-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference win over Alderson Broaddus on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Yellow Jacket Field. Gilmour tallied the first goal of the match in the 11th minute - his team-leading ninth of the season - then assisted Christian Alexander in the 55th minute. Last Tuesday, Gilmour was named the Disney Soccer/NSCAA National Player of the Week for NCAA Division II.
