Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

For the second straight time, the female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 9-15) is softball player Kelsey Chapman. The senior catcher/pitcher from Townsend, Delaware, CU's all-time HR leader, drilled the 14th round-tripper of her career in the opening game of a twinbill vs Ashland on Saturday, March 15 at Lady Jacket Field. Chapman pitched 1 2/3 innings of shutout relief in the game as well and came in during the second game for 4 1/3 innings of scoreless relief. She has yet to allow an earned run in 27 innings of work this spring.
