The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 2-8) is basketball player Marcus Reineke. The 6-foot-2 senior guard from New Knoxville, Ohio posted 19 points including 6-for-6 from the free throw line in a 76-74 Great Midwest Athletic Conference setback to visiting Alderson Broaddus on Thursday, Feb. 5. Reineke poured in 32 points, grabbed seven boards and handed out five assists in an 82-73 G-MAC verdict over Davis & Elkins in the Callan Athletic Center on Saturday, Feb. 7. He drained 12-of-13 from the charity stripe and continues to pace the league with a .921 (82-for-89) mark.
