Biography
Marcus Reineke is the Yellow Jackets top returning player following an outstanding junior season.....NCCAA All-America honorable mention.....voted the NCCAA Midwest Region Team and G-MAC Second Team.....led the team in scoring (18.5), field goals made (161), three-pointers (82), three-point percentage (.427), free throws made (76), and free throw accuracy (.844).....ranked fifth in the G-MAC in scoring but was #1 in scoring against conference opponents (20.9).....led the league in three-point field goals made.....missed the first two games with an injury and then started the final 26.....scored in double figures 23 times.....exploded for a career-high 37 points in a 97-88 win at Central State.....poured in 31 in a 92-87 setback at Kentucky Wesleyan.....pumped in 28 markers during an 89-86 OT victory at Ohio Valley.....begins the season with 898 career points.....rates #2 all-time at CU with a .437 accuracy outside the arc.....career .837 free throw shooter including an .871 clip his last two years.
2012-13 - Averaged 7.9 points while shooting 47 percent outside the arc as a sophomore.....converted 32-of-34 free throws for 94 percent.....scored in double figures 10 times.....equaled his career-high with 25 points in a 70-62 win over Illinois Springfield.....poured in 19 points during a victory against Salem International.
2011-12 - Played in all 32 games as a rookie off the bench.....averaged 5.9 points and shot 43 percent outside the arc.....fired in a season-high 25 points, all in the second half, of a 91-89 overtime victory at Malone.....buried 5-of-7 threes and finished with a team-high 17 points in a 71-58 win over Grand Valley State.....matched a school record by going 5-for-5 from three-point land and led the squad with 17 points in a 90-84 setback at No. 7 Findlay.....voted to the All-Ohio Independent Freshmen Team.
High School - Produced an outstanding career at New Knoxville High School.....All-Ohio Division IV Second Team performer as a senior after averaging 21.5 points per game.....MVP of Ohio Division III-IV North-South All-Star Game with 31 points.....Ohio/Indiana All-Star choice.....Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year.....two-time All-MAC and all-district selection.....member of three MAC championship squads.....part of 2008 undefeated state championship team.....career 84 percent free throw shooter.....four-year letter winner in baseball.....earned three letters in golf.
