Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

For the second consecutive week, the female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Feb. 23-Mar. 1) is track & field performer Carsyn Koch. The freshman middle distance runner/high jumper from Washburn, Maine won two individual events and was part of the runner-up 4 x 400 meter relay squad at the first-ever Great Midwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship. Koch took the 800 meter race with a 2:15.47 outing (5th-fastest all-time at CU) and grabbed the high jump title with a 5-3 effort. The Lady Jackets finished second in the meet held at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio on Saturday, Feb. 28.
