The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (April 6-12) is baseball player Steve Cardwell. The senior righthander from Massillon, Ohio spun a complete-game two-hitter as the Yellow Jackets defeated Davis & Elkins, 9-0, to complete a sweep of their G-MAC doubleheader on Sat., April 11 in Elkins, West Virginia. Cardwell hurled seven innings while posting one walk and three strikeouts en route to his first win of the season.
