The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 14-20) is basketball performer Abby Wolford. The 5-foot-7 sophomore guard from Cincinnati, Ohio scored a career-high 21 points in a 73-44 win over Alaska Fairbanks to close out the Alaska Anchorage Seawolf Hoops Classic on Sunday, Dec. 20. Wolford, who was named to the six-member all-tournament team, went 8-for-9 at the charity stripe and added four assists and two steals. She started off the week with a 10-point outing in CU's 113-81 win over visiting Urbana on Monday, Dec. 14. Wolford posted a team-high 13 points in the 75-45 loss to NCAA II #5 and host Anchorage Alaska on Saturday, Dec. 19.
