Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (January 4-10) is basketball player Abby Wolford. The 5-foot-7 sophomore guard from Cincinnati, Ohio helped lead the Lady Jackets to three Great Midwest Athletic Conference victories last week. On Monday, January 4 Wolford pumped in a careeer-high 27 points as CU posted a 67-55 win over visiting Kentucky Wesleyan. She tossed in 14 points along with four assists in a 69-61 verdict at Ohio Valley on Thursday, Jan. 7. Wolford capped off the week with 17 points and four more assists in an 80-65 decision at Salem International on Saturday, Jan. 9.
