The male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Dec. 4-10) is basketball player Patrick Bain. The 6-foot-3 senior guard from Tipp City, Ohio averaged 24 points in a pair of G-MAC home games. Bain scored all 21 of his points in the second half including his 1,000th career point while adding team highs of seven rebounds and five assists in an 80-70 win over Trevecca on Thursday, Dec. 5. He followed up with a season-high 27 points in a 75-71 setback to defending league champion Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday, Dec. 7. Bain connected on 17-of-28 shot attempts in the two contests for a .607 shooting percentage.
