Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Sept. 13-19) is cross country runner Katie Gillespie. The freshman from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio produced another notable performance in just her second collegiate meet. Gillespie was the individual runner-up as NAIA #2 Cedarville finished second in the 19th Annual Friendship Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19. She toured the 5,000 meter layout in 17:34 which is the fastest CU time ever on the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
