Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Male Athlete of the Week (April 14-20) for the second consecutive time is track & field pole vaulter Tommy Ansiel. The sophomore from Warrenville, Illinois won the pole vault event at Azusa Pacific's Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday, April 19 in Azusa, California. Ansiel added an inch to his school record by clearing 17-2.75 (5.25 meters) to place first among 42 competitors. The Division II Outdoor Second Team All-American last spring is already an automatic qualifier in 2019.
