The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 8-14) for the second-consecutive time is cross country runner Alayna Ackley. The sophomore from Hart, Michigan was fifth of 116 participants with a personal-best 5K mark of 18:07.7 to lead the Lady Jackets to a runner-up finish at the 29th Annual Friendship Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019. The 11-team event was held on Cedarville's Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
