The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 29-Oct. 5) is volleyball player Liene Miller. The 6-foot-2 junior outside hitter from Westfield, Indiana tallied 43 kills in two Great Midwest road wins at Ohio Valley and Alderson Broaddus. Miller recorded 18 kills and added 12 digs in a 3-1 victory over OVU on Friday, Oct. 4 in Vienna, West Virginia. She followed up with a career-high 25 kills including a team-high 14 digs in a five-set verdict at AB on Saturday, Oct. 5 in Philippi, West Virginia.
