The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Female Athlete of the Week (Oct. 13-19) is volleyball player Liene Miller. The 6-foot-2 junior outside hitter from Westfield, Indiana drilled a career-high 26 kills to pace the Lady Jackets in a five-set win over Northern Michigan at the Midwest Region Crossover in Indianapolis, Indiana. She added 17 kills in a 3-1 victory against Bellarmine and 11 kills in a 3-1 setback to AVCA #24 Michigan Tech. Miller was named to the All-Tournament Team for the event held on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 18-19 at the Academy Volleyball Club.
