The Cedarville Female Athlete of the Week (Nov. 29-Dec. 5) is women's basketball player Ashlyn Huffman. The 5-foot-5 senior guard from Columbus, Indiana averaged 26.5 points per game in a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference games. Huffman poured in 28 points - including 22 in the fourth quarter - as CU dropped a 95-92 verdict at Ohio Dominican on Thursday, Dec. 3. She followed up with a 25 point effort in an impressive 91-75 victory over visiting Findlay on Saturday, Dec. 5. Huffman joined the Cedarville 1,000 Point Club with a free throw early in the second quarter in the 2020-21 home opener.
