CEDARVILLE, Ohio - NAIA Division II #10 Cedarville scored the first 11 points of the game and rolled to a 93-71 American Mideast Conference victory over Wilberforce in the Callan Athletic Center.
The Lady Jackets, 6-2 overall and 1-1 AMC, needed only nine minutes to sprint to a 31-8 lead. The first-half bulge inflated to as much as 28 points as CU shot a blistering 58.5 percent from the field and held a 56-32 margin at the intermission.
The Jackets didn't stop there. They increased the difference to 31 in the opening minutes of the second half and coasted to their 30th win in 31 meetings against their Greene County rival.
Aubrey Siemon posted her fifth straight double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in just 19 minutes of action. Alison Lemon totaled 16 points and seven assists. Caitlyn Brooks tallied 12 points and Lydia Miller added 10.
Cedarville outrebounded the Bulldogs, 51-32. Wilberforce dropped to 2-7 and 0-2 AMC. [STATS]
