CANTON, Ohio - Alison Lemon and Aubrey Siemon each posted double-doubles to lead the NAIA Division II #10 Lady Jackets to an easy 92-56 American Mideast Conference victory at Malone.
Cedarville, who blew out the Pioneers in the season opener by 53 points, surrendered the first five points of the contest this time. The Jackets answered with 16 straight points over the next five minutes to take command.
CU shot 54 percent from the field in the opening half including a 6-for-11 showing outside the arc for a 44-24 lead. The visitors began period two with a 15-3 spurt for a 30-point bulge.
Siemon finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds for her sixth consecutive double-double. Lemon totaled 21 points and 10 assists while Lacie Condon chipped in 10 points.
The Lady Jackets improved to 7-2 overall and 2-1 AMC. Malone fell to 2-7 and 0-3. [STATS]
