CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Alison Lemon scored 21 points to lead for players in double figures as NAIA Division II #8 Cedarville outplayed American Mideast Conference foe Daemen, 88-70, for their sixth consecutive victory.
The Lady Jackets, 14-3 overall and 5-1 AMC, scored the game's first nine points and never trailed. A 21-9 finish to the first half provided a 40-27 advantage.
CU wasn't done. An 11-2 start to the second period busted it open and the margin inflated to as much as 61-36 with 13:10 left.
Aubrey Siemon controlled the inside with 17 points and 16 rebounds. Caitlyn Brooks tossed in 15 points with five assists while Kara Cayton hit every shot she took in providing 10 points off the bench.
The Lady Jackets owned a commanding 46-27 edge on the boards. The hosts also drained 7-of-13 three-pointers and converted 19-of-20 free throws. Daemen drops to 8-9 and 4-3 AMC. [STATS]
