NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Walsh decisively knocked the Lady Jackets out of a share of first place in the American Mideast Conference with a 7-1 outcome.
The lone point for Cedarville came at #1 doubles. Joy Kellogg and Brooke Johnson pulled off an 8-3 victory.
The Cavaliers won the other two doubles matches and then claimed singles matches #2 through #6 all in straight sets. Kellogg's match at #1 singles was halted late in the second set because of rain.
Cedarville drops to 12-4 overall and 5-1 AMC while having its four-match winning streak snapped. Walsh is 11-8 and 5-1 AMC. [RESULTS]
